Ubisoft launched Good Game Playbooks to encourage positive online interactions and help players when they encounter toxic or inappropriate behaviors in game play. Developed in collaboration with mental health charity Safe In Our World, the Good Game Playbooks educates players on how to identify, report and combat inappropriate conduct to create safer online spaces.

Employing the expertise and counsel of Safe In Our World, the comprehensive guidebooks includes valuable resources for those experiencing online toxicity and promotes positive mental health practices. The playbooks offer informative tools tailored for all members of the video game community, including players, parents and game developers, to help cope with feelings of stress and anger associated with gameplay and to help develop self-awareness and resilience.

Fully integrated into Ubisoft’s ecosystem, the Good Game Playbooks will be shared at key moments throughout the player journey, serving as an ongoing resource to encourage respectful and positive interactions. Additionally, parents will receive the Playbooks monthly alongside their child’s activity report email, helping them stay informed and engaged. They are also available online for free to anyone who is interested.
