Riot Games created a “Muted Word List” that allows players to manually filter out words and phrases they do not want to hear in the Valorant game. While Riot also uses communication-filtering technology behind the scenes to proactively remove inappropriate words and phrases before players see them, the Muted Word List provides players with an extra level of control by empowering them to create their own lists to filter out unwanted communications. Riot will also incorporate the words that players add to their Muted Word Lists into its automatic filtering technology to continue making it smarter and more effective.
