In 2020, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox announced a collaborative effort, called Our Shared Commitment to Safer Gaming, which sets forth a multidisciplinary approach and a set of principles to guide the shared priority of protecting players online. The principles—Prevention, Partnership and Responsibility—set forth various commitments the game companies agree to meet individually and collectively.
