History of Video Games 1986

Ubi Soft (later Ubisoft) is founded in Paris by the five Guillemot brothers to create and distribute video games around the world. Starting from its first releases like Zombi for the home computer, to the hit 90s platformer Rayman, Ubisoft’s early creative spirit paved the way for its future.

Bethesda Softworks is founded in Rockville, Maryland and goes on to give the gaming world The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Starfield.
