Roblox provides a number of tools to empower parents to set restrictions for their children’s activity. The platform designs and builds its products, policies, and partnerships around rigorous built-in protections to help protect children and empower families.
Caregivers are encouraged to create parent accounts and link them to their child’s account to set up controls and explore Roblox together. With Parental Controls, parents can easily block specific experiences or users and manage access to: Screen-Time Controls, Spending Controls, Communication Controls (including private servers and friends), and Content Controls (Maturity Settings/Content Labels).
Roblox implements restrictive protections and clearly defines its policies and Community Standards so parents can make informed decisions about their child’s access. As children grow up on Roblox, settings evolve, providing additional freedoms as they grow closer to adulthood.
