Career
Jason Mahler joined ESA as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs in 2025. A seasoned policy and legislative expert, he brings more than 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, focusing on technology, communications, and intellectual property policy.
Prior to joining ESA, Mahler was Vice President of Government Affairs at Oracle Corporation, where he oversaw federal and state advocacy programs and represented the company on multiple trade association boards. He also served as Vice President and General Counsel for the Computer & Communications Industry Association, leading policy initiatives for the information and communications technology industries.
Earlier in his career, Mahler worked on Capitol Hill, including as legislative counsel to Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) and as chief of staff to Congresswoman Anna Eshoo (D-CA), a senior member of the House Energy & Commerce and Intelligence Committees.
