The ESA team recently hit the streets of Nashville to help parents better understand video games – from
how to set up parental controls to understanding ESRB age ratings to how to beat their kids at their favorite
games! To spread the word, ESA sponsored its first ever Game Lounge at the Mom 2.0 Summit – a
conference dedicated entirely to connecting and engaging with parenting influencers and content
creators.

Over the course of two days, ESA – along with our friends from ESRB, Epic Games, Microsoft Xbox,
Nintendo and Ubisoft – had hundreds of conversations with Mom 2.0 attendees. Visitors left with
information on the benefits of games as well as the numerous tools and resources available to them to
manage game play.

Along the way, visitors to the game lounge got to pick up the controllers and experience their kids’
favorite games – as well as discover some new favorites.

  • Fortnite with Epic Games
  • Minecraft Education with Xbox
  • Princess Peach Showtime and Mario Kart 8 with Nintendo
  • Just Dance and Rocksmith+ with Ubisoft

In addition to the Game Lounge, ESRB’s President Patricia Vance and ESA’s SVP Aubrey Quinn joined the mainstage of the conference for a quick chat about video game safety. Check it out

To cap off the Summit, attendees entered to win amazing prizes contributed by ESA member companies
– a Bluey-themed Xbox, Nintendo Switch OLED Model, PlayStation 5 and a Kramer Baretta Guitar from
Rocksmith+ by Ubisoft. Congratulations to the winners!

Major thanks to our partners at Entertainment Software Rating Board, Epic Games, Microsoft Xbox,
Nintendo, Sony Interactive Entertainment PlayStation and Ubisoft for their collaboration and
contributions to this event!
