Position Title: Senior Analyst

Reporting To: Program Manager, Intellectual Property Protection and Security (IPPS)

Location: Washington, D.C.

Position Summary:
The Intellectual Property Protection and Security (IPPS) Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting ESA’s global online enforcement programs that protect the most iconic intellectual property in the gaming industry. This includes engaging in monitoring of video game infringement activities and conducting complex solutions that provide enforcement services on behalf of ESA member companies. This position is based in Washington, D.C. ESA employees are in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and may work remotely Monday and Friday.

Duties of the Senior Analyst include sending takedown notices and following up with intermediaries, preparing and conducting presentations to ESA member company representatives and stakeholders, and analyzing trends in existing data and reporting on these trends. This position will also be conducting open-source investigations on priority targets, assisting in forensic analysis of evidence for all law enforcement investigations, and drafting monthly online monitoring activity reports for members.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of experience protecting IP with a preference in data science or information technology. The candidate will be fluent in video game jargon and can discuss games, consoles, and industry trends. Ideal candidates understand a pivot table from a formatted table and are confident making data-driven proposals to ESA and its members.

The budgeted salary range for this position is 60-75K with eligibility for a bonus.
