WASHINGTON — December 9, 2019 — The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), which represents the U.S. video game industry, released a statement today congratulating U.S. Register of Copyrights Karyn A. Temple on her appointment as Senior Executive Vice President and Global General Counsel with the Motion Picture Association (MPA). Temple is joining MPA after more than eight years with the U.S. Copyright Office, where she served as a pivotal leader in a number of critical copyright policy matters, including the triennial Section 1201 rulemakings.
