As the Director of Human Resources, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to ESA leadership and ensure that ESA (including its related entities, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) and the ESA Foundation) fosters a diverse, inclusive, and connected culture through which employees thrive and deliver excellence to the organization and its members.  The Director takes a hands-on approach to direct and implement all human resources functions, including talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits, employee relations, EEO, ERISA, Department of Labor and related compliance, organizational training and development, performance management, and managing and updating employment policies and procedures.  This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer, with additional reporting lines to the President & CEO, and supervises one manager-level direct report.

Qualified candidates will offer a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of progressive, hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources management, including leading programs and teams.  This position requires experience leading training sessions and development programs, proficiency in employment and benefits law and its application in the workplace, and success developing and implementing progressive talent management and human resource approaches.  SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or other HR Certification and/or DEI Certification preferred.
