The Entertainment Software Association Foundation (ESA Foundation) in Washington, DC is actively seeking a driven full-time Coordinator professional to support foundation programs and to provide administrative support to the Executive Director.

For more than 20 years, the ESA Foundation has supported programs and opportunities that make a difference in the lives of America’s youth by harnessing the collective power of the video game industry. Thanks to the generous support of the public and ESA members, the ESA Foundation provides funding for students, schools and nonprofits across the country.

The coordinator helps organize fundraising and awareness events, produces high quality communication materials including an on-line newsletter, facilitates partnerships with vendors, and creates strong relationships with donors and support our scholarship programs and related events.

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience (6 years) in a non-profit environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Word Excel and PowerPoint or relevant software suite, e.g. Google
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to manage up
  • Exposure to online marketing, social media, video game culture and online communities a plus
  • Aptitude for understanding top-line strategies and priorities
  • Solid experience in foundation or non-profit setting, preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them by set deadline
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Fundraising experience preferred

This position works a typical schedule of 9 AM – 6 PM, Monday through Friday. This schedule does not include requirements for special events and occasional travel. We are temporarily in a remote work environment but this position will require employee to work from our D.C. office.
